Portland, OR February Plug-In

Event Information

An event for anyone from Portland and the greater PNW who work in food, hospitality or professions that support food/hospitality-related businesses. Join us to learn more about Women Chefs & Restaurateurs and build a stronger community!

  • · Complimentary light snacks provided by The Nightwood
  • · Sherry education by Cheryl Wakerhauser of Pix Patisserie / Bar Vivant. Sherry donated by Galaxy Wine Company.
  • · Wine + beer to purchase

While you are enjoying the snacks, drinks and savvy company of WCR members (and potential members!) Cheryl will share a thing or two about sherry wine, including demystifying the various styles and teaching you how to use the venencia (it might get messy, but we don’t care). Wakerhauser is one of just fourteen official Sherry Educators in the US, a recognition awarded by the Consejo Regulador of the Sherry region.
