International Women’s Day WCR Dinner at the James Beard House

Five Renowned New York Chefs Curate “The Immigration of Flavor” for International Women’s Day at the James Beard House on March 8, 2019, 7pm

 

This singular culinary event, curated for International Women’s Day, features top first-generation immigrant chefs. WCR, these hand-selected chefs, and partners are coming together on March 8 to present a unique dinner that underscores themes of globalism in marking this important yearly celebration. Held at the storied James Beard House, the dinner’s menu was created by these celebrated chefs, from five different countries, to marry an international array of flavors.

Featured Chefs

Chef Einat Admony is from Israel and owns Balaboosta, Kish-Kash, and Taim, all in NY.

Chef Selassie Atadika is from Ghana and spends time both there with her Midunu Concept-New African Cuisine, in Europe and in NY.

Chef Emma Bengtsson is from Sweden, does both savory and sweet, and has 2 Michelin stars at Aquavit, NY.

Chef Fany Gerson is from Mexico, and is the chef/founder of Dough and LaNewYorkina in NY

Chef Hong Thaimee is from Thailand and owns Thaimee Table, Thaimee Box, and Thaimee Magic in NY.
