About the ATB Education Session

Maybe you dream of opening a restaurant. Maybe you have a new concept for a bakery, brewing company or distillery? Or maybe you have a great beverage recipe and want to take your product to the next level and embark upon the exciting journey of entrepreneurship. How do you turn that dream into action? What should you be thinking about? How important is that business plan? And how should you finance your business? These are the questions we’ll be talking about with our entrepreneur strategists and specialists from ATB at the January Plug-in Event.

Ranice Macyk is ATB’s Senior Manager, Entrepreneur Capital and Canada Small Business Financing Program Specialist. Ranice is the unmatched expert when it comes to financing in the food and beverage industry, be it through the CSBFA Program, traditional or alternative financing.

Shannon Pestun is the Director of Women’s entrepreneurship with ATB Financial. Shannon is helping women break through a number of barriers, from accessing financial capital to connecting with the right social networks. Her vision is to unleash the untapped potential of the people behind 50 per cent of all Canadian start-ups by reimagining the banking experience for women.
